IN 1997, AFTER GRADUATING FROM THE FACULTY OF FINE ARTS, I LAUNCHED A WEEKLY COLUMN IN DAINIK PURBOKON TITLED “HERITAGE OF CHITTAGONG” (CHATTOGRAMER OITIJJO). MY GOAL WAS SIMPLE BUT URGENT: TO CAPTURE THE CITY’S VANISHING HISTORY THROUGH HISTORICAL NARRATIVE AND HAND-DRAWN PEN SKETCHES.

From Local Ink to International Recognition

National Spotlight  >Selected works were featured in a special Heritage edition of The Daily Star, Bangladesh’s premier English daily.

Book Publication  > The collection was published as a book and officially released at the International Mother Language Book Fair.

International Reach  >The work gained cross-border recognition, circulating at the Kolkata Book Fair in India and across Bangladesh.
