IN 1997, AFTER GRADUATING FROM THE FACULTY OF FINE ARTS, I LAUNCHED A WEEKLY COLUMN IN DAINIK PURBOKON TITLED “HERITAGE OF CHITTAGONG” (CHATTOGRAMER OITIJJO). MY GOAL WAS SIMPLE BUT URGENT: TO CAPTURE THE CITY’S VANISHING HISTORY THROUGH HISTORICAL NARRATIVE AND HAND-DRAWN PEN SKETCHES.
